CHARLY Recycle launches a new collection of clothing and sporting goods made from recycled material where the Mexican brand seeks to give nature a voice through the collection of plastic containers, which are thrown into the ocean, harming animals, for which reason it has made an analysis of this problem to protect and save the lives of living beings on planet earth, making the world greener.
In an exclusive interview for Merca2.0, we spoke with Rafael Rosas, Manager of Marketing and Public Relations of Grupo CHARLY, who gave us more details about the project that the Mexican brand is carrying out, through its new launch with the collection of clothing and sporting goods made from recycled material.
“CHARLY seeks to leave a mark as a sports brand with this new collection and what we want is to give nature a voice to join the re-evolution in the fashion industry, since this industry has a great impact on the environment. and these small actions start to add up with these types of trends. The product team began to see some suppliers and trends in the market, so we decided to go on a big path to launch this new collection in 2020”, commented Rafael Rosas.

“CHARLY’s main objective is for them to get to know the brand with this new category, because as we well know the brand is very well positioned within soccer, but today we are trying to diversify the categories, because we are not just soccer, CHARLY is much more than that, so the main message is that they try the brand and join the re-evolution, since it is important to mention that with the purchase of this collection a percentage of the sales goes to Plastic Oceans, which for For the third consecutive year we are reaffirming our alliance with them and this budget will be used to continue carrying out actions that reduce environmental damage”, mentioned Rafael Rosas, Marketing and Public Relations Manager.

On the other hand, the Marketing and Public Relations Manager announced the process of elaboration of the new collection of the CHARLY brand, which will include the collection of a certain amount of pet to begin designing the new tennis and clothing models. sporty.
“It takes a great process with which the pet is first collected and then crushed to be able to separate the flakes and wash them and with that start combining and mixing them with the polyester to start designing the models for the new collection, which will have 17,296.74 kilos of recycled PET, 8,328.06 kilos of recycled foam, 10,916.16 kilos of recycled EVA and 7,379.94 kilos of recycled rubber”, said Rafael Rosas, Marketing and Public Relations Manager
Notably CHARLY dresses some teams from the Liga MX which are Pachuca, León, Santos Laguna, Xolos, Atlas and Querétaro, Therefore, the Mexican firm is looking to make the equipment for the clubs with recycled material.
