A little over a month before its final release, Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One continues trying to conquer the most undecided by showing some novelties of its proposal, such as combat in this case. Normally, Sherlock is represented as an intellectual little given to fights, much less to shootings, but in this new installment of the Frogwares series, the detective will get to work and get involved with fists and shots.
All of us who have seen a detective film or series will know that in these types of stories there is always a suspect who does not take too well to be accused and becomes violent or the protagonist gets into trouble with a group of thugs. It doesn’t seem to be much different in this Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One that goes back to the origins of the Baker Street detective. Not only does it have flashy melee flourishes to knock out enemies, when the situation calls for it, it also makes use of fego weapons.
As we see in this new gameplay trailer, when the melee attacks, the cartwheels and the covers are not enough, you can shoot the enemy. In principle to remove the protections of the suit and to be able to stop them as required by law, although it seems that there will also be the possibility of simply killing them in a lethal way. We understand that the canonical way Sherlock would do it would be without killing anyone.
Aside from combat, Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One promises a thrilling adventure of suspense and signature investigation. This time with a much younger and inexperienced Sherlock. Will hit stores next November 14th for PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC, later for PS4 and Xbox One.
