FAR: Changing Tides, the newest from the Frontier team, has also been dropped at Nintendo’s Indie World that took place just a few minutes ago to confirm the delay of its launch on the Japanese hybrid console for early 2022. This is the direct sequel to FAR: Lone Sails and will once again transport us to its post-apocalyptic world flooded where we will have to explore what remains of civilization to survive while we make our way through puzzles and some platforms.
As can be seen in its presentation trailer, FAR: Changing Tides, Frontier’s proposal quickly enters the eyes thanks to its brilliant post-apocalyptic graphic and artistic section, but this new installment of the series also aims to bring novelties in its playable formula. Check out.
“Embark on a new journey in FAR: Changing Tides, an atmospheric adventure in the post-apocalyptic world presented for the first time in the award-winning FAR: Lone Sails”, we can read in its description. Follow the protagonist, Toe, who finds himself trapped in a flooded landscape with nothing but an abandoned ship to call home. Explore a wonderfully realized flooded world, tackle puzzles both above and below the surface, and experience the thrill of captaining a unique sea ship.
FAR: Changing Tides was announced just a few months ago for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC and Nintendo Switch for this year, but it seems that finally we will have to wait for the beginning of 2022 to enjoy this new adventure of exploration and puzzles.
