The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is continuously trying to send signals and connect with its Deep Space Network (DSN) to India’s moon lander. Now NASA is also helping ISRO to contact Vikram Lander. An ISRO official said that the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) of the US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is sending radio signals to Vikram.
An ISRO official said, “Efforts are being made to re-establish the communication link with the Moon’s Vikram. These efforts will be made from September 20-21, when the sunlight will be in the area where Vikram has landed. ISRO is trying to establish communication with Vikram through its Indian Deep Space Network (IDSN) at Bayalalu near Bangalore.
Astronomer Scott Tyley has also expressed a strong possibility of contacting Vikram Lander by tweeting. In 2018, Tyly discovered the US weather satellite (Weather satellite). This image satellite was launched by NASA in 2000, after which five years later it lost contact.
