Call of Duty: Vanguard, the installment of this 2021, has not yet gone on sale, and the first rumors have already begun to emerge about the next installment of the Activision series, that of 2022. It would not be, neither more nor less, that Modern Warfare II. That is, the sequel to the reboot of this sub-saga of the franchise that was restarted in 2019 with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
This rumor comes from Tom Henderson, a well-known insider from games like Call of Duty and Battlefield. Through his personal Twitter account, Henderson has published the list of all games in the Modern Warfare series, starting with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare from 2007 until, here comes the surprise, Modern Warfare II, not Modern Warfare 2, installment of 2009.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

Although he doesn’t say a word about it, it seems more than obvious that Henederson seems to hint that the next installment of Call of Duty will be Modern Warfare II. That is, the delivery of 20022, since it is an annual saga. Still no official confirmation, obviously, since the delivery scheduled for this 2021 has not even gone on sale.
In either case, Call of Duty: Vanguard will go on sale next November 5th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. It could already be tested at the end of last month through a first beta and showed its campaign through a spectacular gameplay, in just over a month you will be able to enjoy the full experience.
