After the departure of Frank Langella, it will finally be Bruce Greenwood who takes his place in the Netflix series ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’.
According to Deadline, Langella was fired from the series in April due to inappropriate behavior on set. Greenwood will re-record all the scenes already shot by Langella, in the role of Roderick Usher.

‘The Fall of the House of Usher’ is the next series by Mike Flanagan for Netflix, developed alongside Trevor Macy with whom he has already worked on ‘The Haunting of Hill House’, ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ and ‘Midnight Mass’. It will have an extension of eight chapters and it is an adaptation of the well-known novel by Edgar Allan Poe.
According to tweeted Flanagan himself, feels very satisfied with what will be the fourth collaboration with the actorincluding his cameo as a ghost in ‘The Haunting of Hill House’.
Greenwood joins the cast that already has names like Mark Hamill, Carla Gugino, Mary McDonnell, Annabeth Gish, Rahul Kohli, Carl Lumbly, Zach Gilford Y Malcolm Goodwin, among others. Many of them, like Greenwood, have previously collaborated with Flanagan on previous projects.
Defined as ‘an epic tale of greed, horror and tragedy’, ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’ does not yet have a release date but is still in production.
