Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights just been announced by Square enix through a new presentation trailer. The announcement of this new game comes just a few months after the official launch of Bravely Defaults II, of which we have already made our analysis, and it’s part of the celebrationn that Square Enix will be conducting as part of the tenth anniversary of the saga. Here we leave you the trailer!
This new title comes as a spin-off of the saga Bravely Default. Square enix has not given too many details about it, beyond the name and the fact that it will arrive as part of the franchise’s tenth anniversary celebration. However, thanks to a forum ResetEra, we know that the closed beta of the game will start very soonAlthough the game’s release date is probably not as close as we’d like.
Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights shown in trailer
Some users have pointed out that the trailer shows many mechanics and elements already seen in Bravely Default II, and that has generated mixed responses in the community. However, it is to be understood given the proximity between both deliveries, although in this case it is a work aimed at the mobile market. The trailer is only in Japanese, but here we also leave it for you to take a look.
Square enix has taken advantage of the announcement of Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights to confirm that the saga has already sold more than 3 million of copies globally, so of course we’ll see a lot more about the franchise in the future. We don’t know if the mobile game will come to the west, but it will probably be confirmed later by Square enix.
Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights will come to iOS and Android coming soon. We don’t know the official release date yet, but since the game turns ten in 2022, it is quite likely that we will see the game around that time.
