The use of blockchain networks continues to gain ground in Brazil, after the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), announced the start of operations of a chain of blocks next Monday. , May 30.
Among the objectives that the blockchain will have is to connect institutions to “facilitate the adoption” of this type of technology in solutions oriented to the public interest, as well as increasing the transparency of public spendingaccording to detailed the TCU in a press release.
According to the TCU, the use of a blockchain generates “expectations in the contribution of this technology to the improvement of security and transparency in the transactions of public institutions.”

The open source base is almost identical to another Ethereum enterprise solution, called Pantheon.developed by Ethereum startup ConsenSys.
The non-profit project is being developed between the public and private sector from Brazil. During the launch of the network “potential network participants who are already in the experimental phase and have been discussing technical aspects, based on their experiences of use, will be heard.”
Brazil has experiences in the use of blockchain
From the Brazilian public sector It is not the first time that blockchains are used. By April 2021, 156,000 pages of documents had already been authenticated by this e-Notary platform system.
