In a few weeks the Tokyo Game Show will take place; the most important video game fair held annually in Japan. Large developers, such as Capcom, Konami or Square Enix have already confirmed their attendance and Xbox could not miss this event. Microsoft is determined to make Japan one of the key Xbox countries, so these types of appointments are almost mandatory for the multinational. Although Xbox has already warned that the Tokyo Game Show will not be an event full of revelations and unannounced games, it is possible that the arrival of new titles or ports of Japanese games will be announced, especially to Xbox Game Pass. Will Bravely Default 2 be one of them?
Bravely Default 2 on Xbox Game Pass? Possible Tokyo Game Show bombshell
Nick Shpeshal, a well-known insider and one of the founders of Xbox Era, has hinted that Bravely Default 2 could come to Xbox Game Pass. The game has just been announced for Steam, so don’t rule out Xbox being your next stop. It has long been rumored that Microsoft is very interested in bringing JRPG to its new consoles. Something that we have already seen after the rumors of Persona 5, whose launch could finally be confirmed at this event and the arrival of Octopath Traveler a few months ago.
“It would be interesting, for players who like Japanese ports, if they announce more games like that. I know they just announced Bravely Default 2 for Steam and I tweeted about it, commenting that it might be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Octopath Traveler followed a similar path; it was announced for PC and later it arrived at Xbox. This may be the occasion to announce it.
