The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild It hit the market alongside the Nintendo Switch in March 2017, and since then it has been considered one of the best modern video games and one of the best games in the open world genre. Thanks to this, a large number of fan arts have emerged, such as that of the Korean artist @dudugame2who imagined them in the modern age.
In the story of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild we see that Link is part of the royal guard of Princess Zelda and follows her everywhere as her protector, which led the Korean artist to imagine the characters as the secretary of interiors and his bodyguard in the series Bodyguard, as we can see below.

Fan art showing Link and Zelda in the modern era was released yesterday along with a photo of their inspiration: Richard Madden and Keeley Hawes in the Bodyguard series. Thanks to the photograph we can see that both Link’s and Zelda’s clothing are almost identical to those of the actors in the TV series.
However, the fan art did not stop there, as the Korean artist presented us with a recreation of the saddest moment that Link and Zelda share in Breath of the Wild, but simulating that they are inside a security car after a shooting.
