Consumer complains to Bodega Aurrera for requiring that both she and her two-year-old daughter wear face masks when entering the store.
In times of a new wave of infections, Bodega Aurrerá continues to promote prevention measures against Covid-19.
Today, in Mexico, A total of 5.88 million cases and some 365 thousand deaths have been registered due to the virus.
Twitter is the social network where a woman claims Bodega Aurrerá for requiring the use of face masks for her baby, even though, in several branches, it is one of the measures and requirements that continues to fight to promote the prevention of Covid-19.
Since December 2019, a virus has been known that, a few months later, changed the course of the world and that, to this day, continues to generate infections and deaths.
Official information mentions that currently In Mexico, a total of 5.88 million cases and some 365 thousand deaths have been registered due to the virus. In addition, during the last 24 hours, more than three thousand new infections and 10 deaths have been registered.
In the middle of 2022, after a long vaccination day, the reality of Covid-19 seems further away than it was at the beginning of the disease, despite the fact that, as has been reported, in recent weeks the cases of new infections are picking up and deaths.
Given this, in some establishments or department stores, prevention measures continue to be implemented and are, in fact, a requirement to access them.
Bodega Aurrerá refuses to withdraw measures against Covid-19
However, for a part of the population, some measures are beginning to be somewhat annoying, such as the use of face masks, and it is even the subject of various claims by consumers.
This is what happens with a complaint posted on Twitter, where a woman claims Bodega Aurrerá for demanding, as a preventive measure, the use of face masks; However, the tweeter says she is upset by the fact that in the store they asked her two-year-old baby to use her mask when entering the establishment, despite the fact that she, she says, has asthma.

The topic of Covid-19 generated -and continues to generate- a large number of reactions around the world, from those who refuse to believe that the virus exists, to those who believe in conspiracy theories, etc.
Undoubtedly, the arrival of Covid-19 and its, until now, endless pandemic has caused, by far, one of the most acute crises worldwide; health, economic, political crisis, etc.
According to official figures, so far, more than 539 million positive cases have been recorded worldwideof which, unfortunately, more than six million people have died from the disease.
Today, in the context of a new wave of infections, the population continues to be called to continue with its prevention measures, and it is done from various spaces, such as public transport, department stores, sporting events and shows, and so on.
In this sense, despite receiving strong criticism in this regard, Bodega Aurrerá continues with the idea of implementing its own measures in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Let us remember the case that occurred in Oxxo, where a consumer entered without a mask and, in the end, it was the employee who paid the consequences.
According to what was revealed, Upon arriving at the checkout without a mask, the Oxxo employee “began to cry” because, when a consumer enters without his mask, three days of salary are deducted.
Also, in the United States it went viral the case of a woman who entered a store without a mask, reason why the employee of the establishment demanded to use it, but the reaction of the consumer was not expected.
And it is that, according to what some media report, the woman not only argued with the employee, but, to top it off, pulled out a gun and pointed it directly at the worker.
