When will it hit the market? The commercial launch of the new Series 3 will take place this year. BMW has confirmed that the starting price, in Germany, will be €43,900. The family body variant will start from €45,000. The order book will open soon, as will the configurator. It will land in dealerships before the end of the year.
The serial production process will take place at the BMW Group facilities in Munich, Germany. The new 3 Series Berlina will also be manufactured in San Luis Potosí (Mexico). In addition, and as with the outgoing model, there will be a variant specifically for the Chinese market. A variant that will be manufactured in the Asian country, more specifically in Tiexi, Shenyang.
