From the beginning of this year the rumor began to circulate that we would have a remaster of Bloodborne for PlayStation 5. The 2021 is coming to an end and we still do not know anything about this, however, lately these rumors have gained traction and it seems that we will not only have a remaster, but also a sequel to the new console Sony.
Colin Moriarty, who previously stated that Bluepoint Games I was working on Bloodborne 2, said this study is also working on the remaster of this game. Apparently they will launch the remaster and then they will dedicate all their efforts to the sequel. In the latest episode of the podcast Sacred Symbols, Moriarty said the following:
“The Bluepoint guys are going to relaunch Bloodborne for PS5, as far as I understand. But we will also have a direct sequel that will come after the remaster. “
Remember that Bluepoint is already an official part of the PlayStation Studios, and not only that, but his next project would be something “completely new and original”. We don’t know if Bloodborne count as something like that, but it will definitely be interesting to know what this study has in store for the future.
Editor’s note: At this point, you could say that it is almost a fact that either of these two things happen. There is a lot of demand for a Bloodborne remaster and let alone its sequel, so it would make sense for Sony to jump in and decide to release either of these two products. If this is true, we hope to have the official announcement shortly.
