Great news for all BLACKPINK fans is that global superstars who have collaborated on great occasions with various video games by giving their virtual concerts inside battle royale rooms, announce the #PinkVenomChallenge in association with YouTube, starting on the 19th of August at 11:00 am Mexico City time, exclusively on YouTube Shorts, right after the debut of their highly anticipated new music video “Pink Venom”.
Something that we find quite curious is that, BLINKs and fans everywhere can get excited about the new video and the #PinkVenomChallenge with a live broadcast of the countdown that begins tonight at 10:00 p.m. Mexico, on BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel. “We are pleased to have another meaningful partnership with YouTube,” said BLACKPINK.

“Hopefully we can have some special events with our fans through the #PinkVenomChallenge in Shorts, the countdown livestream, and our new ‘Pink Venom’ music video. Pay attention!”. Once BLACKPINK releases the music video for “Pink Venom” on YouTube, the group invites fans to head over to YouTube Shorts to join them in a global dance party as part of the #PinkVenomChallenge.
BLINKs from around the world can participate by creating and sharing their best dance moves from the “Pink Venom” music video, adding the hashtag #PinkVenomChallenge to the Shorts description, and posting live. The #PinkVenomChallenge will run until September 15, on the eve of BLACKPINK’s Born Pink album release, at which point fans will expect a special surprise from global superstars.
“Every time BLACKPINK releases new music, they raise their game to the next level and I’m sure ‘Pink Venom’ will be no different,” said Lyor Cohen, Global Head of Music for YouTube. “I like the whole #PinkVenomChallenge in Shorts – it will be amazing to see what BLINKs around the world create.”
