The Bitget cryptocurrency exchange reports that has been recorded from the Seychelles (a group of 115 islands located in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar). The corridor operates in a decentralized manner, without a specific headquarters, with regional centers in strategic markets and plans to create more regional centers in the future.
The runner too updated its recruitment plan, with a new goal of 1,200 employees by the first quarter of 2023, increasing its workforce by an additional 50% compared to the existing oneseeking to better satisfy user demand and sustain business growth.
This new Seychelles registration is under the International Business Companies Act 2016. With the Seychelles registration, Bitget has also established regional centers in the Asian and Latin American markets and plans to strengthen its global presence with more regional centers such as those in Europe and Africa.
In recent weeks, Bitget has taken a number of initiatives to increase user and industry confidence in crypto, including launching the $5 million Relief Fund and expanding the Protection Fund to $300 million. The brokerage is also ramping up its hiring plans and shows no signs of being affected by the recent turmoil.
In early June of this year, Bitget had announced that the company would double its workforce to 1,000 employees by the end of 2022. To better meet growing user demand and business development, Bitget has increased its target workforce to 1,200 employees by Q1 2023. The company has so far grown from a team of 450 employees in June 2022 to more than 800 currently, a growth of 78% in 4 months, and will continue to expand its staff by another 50% of employees until reaching the new goal. The team is currently looking for talented engineers, product, marketing and brand team members. to improve the social commerce experience for its users.
