Changpeng Zhao (CZ), founder and CEO of Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, participated today in a panel at Business 20 (B20), a business forum that runs in parallel with the G20 meetings in Bali, Indonesia.
Leaders from around the world gathered at the event to share their insights on international business challenges and future growth initiatives.. The theme of the B20 is “Promote innovative, inclusive and collaborative growth“, which supports the theme of the G20 “Recover together, recover stronger“.
CZ (Changpeng Zhao) is part of a select group of global business leaders who have discussed the future of technology and the importance of developing the global technology and talent landscape. He participated in the plenary session on the topic “Harnessing the power of innovation for future economic growth”.
CZ said:Everyone in the industry has a responsibility to protect users. We hope industry players can cooperate to gather feedback and set strong standards. Given the recent series of events that have taken place this year, Binance stresses the importance of developing common guidelines. We will try to meet with other industry players to establish shared business standards. All industry players must increase transparency and work closely with regulators to strengthen the industry”.
As the B20 is the official dialogue forum for the business community to communicate and share their aspirations with the G20 governments, more than 60 business leaders attended the meetings.including Jeff Bezos (CEO of Bezos Earth Fund and CEO of Amazon), Mark Tucker (Chairman of HSBC Holdings), Euisun Chung (CEO of Hyundai Motor Group), Febriany Eddy (CEO of Vale Indonesia) and Mohammed Y. Al Qahtani (Saudi Aramco Senior Vice President).
