At some point they went out The Simpson, in South Park and in Rick and Morty, to name a few series. But have you ever thought what the faces of tech billionaires like Bill Gates either Elon Musk in Arcane-type anime style? An app did it and they look… strange? Different! Very curious.
The anime has been made with the hearts of the fans of the West, at least, since the 80s. How to forget those wonderful series and movies of The Knights of the Zodiac, Slam Dunk and, of course, Dragon Ball, to name a few classics.
Arcane is one of the most recent. This French-American anime-style series is set in the League of Legends universe, and is available on Netflix.
A group of programmers led the fanaticism to an application: AnimeGAN, with which you can convert, thanks to artificial intelligence, any photograph into this type of drawing.
On the AnimeGAN portal, you can upload any photo, yours, someone close to you or someone famous, and decide between transformed, more stylized or more robust versions.
So you can convert your portrait to anime, like those of Elon Musk and Bill Gates
To transform the image, you just have to choose it (preferably portrait type), click on Submit and the change appears.
Wait a few seconds (or several, depending on how many requests the tool has), and then the transformation will happen, since millions of people use it.
“To use it, simply upload your image or click on one of the examples to upload them (…) Use a cropped portrait image for best results similar to the examples below.”
— AnimeGAN, anime drawing tool
Capture the screen when the modification is done and that’s it, you can now enjoy the changed image, turned into an anime drawing.
Huggin Face’s Akhaliq programmer was the creator of this tool, available on Github. In addition to billionaires and tech tycoons Elon Musk and Bill Gates, here are some other famous examples, so you can enjoy the AnimeGAN tool with everything.
