The Betis-Sevilla that was played on Saturday night at the Benito Villamarín, in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey and that had to be suspended when Sevilla player Joan Jordán received the impact of an object from the stands, it will resume this Sunday behind closed doors on the same stage.
The competition judge of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided to resume the match from 4:00 p.m. on the same stage and behind closed doors.
The RFEF informs that this resolution is notified to the clubs involved, as well as to the Technical Committee of Referees and that “without prejudice to the immediate enforceability of this resolution, an appeal can be filed against it before the National Committee of Second Instance in the non-extendable period of 48 hours from its notification”.
