Our author tells you about the essential restrictions to leave behind those long nights of alcoholic festivities.
THE FIRST GLASS
Damage A fast water tank is emptying. Premium beers place you three alcoholic units to be good (or bad). This reduces the production in the body of the antidiuretic hormone, so you live it in the bathroom, dehydrated and unable to cool down. To combat this, your body directs blood to the skin to lower your temperature, which explains why you are red like a tomato. “This deprives the muscles of oxygen-rich blood,” says Dr. Carrie Ruxton.
The restriction “Rehydrate as often as possible,” advises Ruxton. “Get away from high caffeine blends and, ideally, drink an isotonic drink so that your body absorbs fluids to the fullest.” Anne Denny, of the British Nutrition Foundation, recommends fruit juice: “hydrates and provides fructose that helps process alcohol.” Apart from the water, the Royal Chemical Society, in England, recommends honey for breakfast the next day because it replenishes sodium, potassium and electrolytes – all these are lost when you bend your elbow. “Honey also provides glucose by balancing fructose,” says Denny. “Like apples, cherries and grapes.”
THE SECOND GLASS
The damage A nutritional nightmare. Not only are Lager and night fries providing the body with a tiny amount of nutrients, they are also destroying those that were already in your body. “Alcohol is an antinutrient,” warns Dirk Budka, a nutritionist for the rehabilitation of alcohol and drug abuse. “It empties the body of almost all vitamin and mineral. After two vessels, this deficiency of nutrients and salts begins to affect coordination as your muscles cannot contract properly without them. ” Simple tasks, such as not spilling the drink, become complicated.
The restriction swallows juice again. An investigation by the University of Michigan, in the United States, recently found that alcohol consumers were not affected so severely by alcohol users.
Repair Check with your trusted doctor to see if you can take a multivitamin, such as Bedoyecta, that contains high doses of the range of vitamins B. “These vitamins are the most affected by alcohol,” Budka says. Your liver is able to process it at the rate of one unit per hour, which allows enough time to pass until your session is “processed” before ingesting the multivitamin.
THE THIRD GLASS
The damage You are stupid. Until your liver finishes oxidizing all that load of water, carbon dioxide and energy, your bloodstream will carry alcohol in fi india and conga rhythm through the brain to sabotage the frontal lobe and leave you uninhibited and with the affected judgment. “Caution, reasoning and common sense are lost when this part of the brain is exposed to alcohol,” says Professor Chris Cook of the Kent Institute of Medicine and Health Sciences in England. “After three vessels, the brain begins to suffer the effects.” Now you are at risk of making disastrous decisions. An investigation by the University of California, in Berkeley, in the United States, revealed that alcohol was present in 23% of extramarital affairs.
The restriction “Seek the advice of friends,” advises the psychologist in sex and relationships, Petra Boynton of the University College of London. Preferably they have a lower blood alcohol level than yours. “A respectable friend may well offer you the necessary brake on your behavior.”
The repair You might regret it the next morning, but your temptation needs to be analyzed. Use this as a catalyst so that you can honestly discuss the reason behind your intentions. “Sometimes, just thinking about the possibility of a relationship breaking makes you weigh how valuable it is what you have,” says Dr. Boynton.
THE FOURTH VESSEL
The damage An investigation carried out at the Diaconisa Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston, United States, found that several drinks a day can increase the risk of cardiac arrest by 45%. Alcohol causes irregular heartbeats and increases the risk of clots.
The restriction “Alcohol ends with potassium and magnesium. Low levels unleash an irregular heartbeat, ”says cardiologist S. Tanveer Rab. “Isotonic drinks replenish these electrolytes.” So take a Lucozade.
Repair The healthier your heart is, the less risk. “Follow the usual parameters,” advises Dr. Andrew Rankin, a cardiologist at the University of Glasgow in England. “Don’t smoke and monitor your blood pressure and weight.”
THE FIFTH GLASS
The damage Affectation to the liver. You are in the stage of the defeats on your night, but your liver is doing the real job. “As alcohol processes, secondary products such as acetaldehyde are formed,” warns Dr. John Emsley. Your body begins to be increasingly toxic, which causes nausea and headaches. In the long term, the accumulation of acetaldehyde can cause scarring of the liver and cirrhosis. According to the Alcohol Research Group, in California, United States, five drinks a day can increase the risk.
Restriction“Decrease your alcohol consumption so that less acelldehyde forms,” advises Emsley. If you can’t miss the rounds of drinks, choose beers with less alcohol. “You’re going to ingest (about) 2.3 units per round, compared to (approximately) three units of Premium beers,” notes Budka. The above saves 4.2 units after six glasses. And eat. Researchers at the University of Dundee, in England, discovered that peak blood alcohol levels when you drink on an empty stomach can be twice what you reach when you finish eating. “Try carbohydrates with a glyceric index, such as beans, cereals with fiber or peanuts, as they are digested slowly,” proposes Nilani Sritharan of the Center for Medical Research Council, in Cambridge, England.
The repair Help your liver with some herbal extract containing silymarin (also found in milk cream), which helps protect the liver and “regenerate liver cells,” says nutritionist Anne Denny.
THE SIXTH GLASS
The damageBindings not recommended. Now you could live the experience of the optical illusion that makes you wonder why Jessica Alba has just arrived at the club where you are. Beautifying beers (the more you drink, the more beautiful a woman looks that makes you cry in your five senses) derive from a decrease in metabolism in a region of the brain called the occipital lobe, which contains the visual cortex. However, researchers at the University of Manchester, England recognize that the illusion does not depend only on alcohol. “Our formula shows that a sober person with little vision in a smoke-filled bar can live an experience similar to that of beautifying beers that lives who has already had six drinks in a smoke-free enclosure,” explains Nathan Efron, Professor of Clinical Optometry.
Restriction It can be difficult at this point in the game, but try to calculate your “beautifying level”: if you have a normal vision, multiply the amount of units you have ingested by the amount of smoke in the place (from zero to 10, with 10 being extremely full of smoke). Divide this by how well your goal is illuminated (graduated from 1 to 15, where 1 is darkness) multiplied by the distance in meters between you and her. A rating above five means that those beautifying beer lenses are fine and in place. More than 10, think again.
The repair “If you have already fallen into bed and the next morning you are truly sorry, it is best to be honest with yourself and also with the women you met last night,” advises Dr. Petra Boynton. “There are issues of respect and self-esteem that could clearly be at stake, so instead of prolonging an inappropriate involvement with false phone numbers or clumsy excuses, it is best to tell them that you had fun, but that up there.” Unless, of course, you really liked one of them.
