Its new dissemination campaign for Easter has demonstrated the way in which the situation can be used with originality.
An original advertising campaign is circulating on social networks to promote road safety for all tourists who travel through national territory during Easter, but is the simplicity of its design and the use of famous personalities which has made users applaud the creativity of the Government of Nuevo León.
The holiday season began and for a few days hundreds of Mexicans began to leave by air or road to walk, relax and see new places, which is why both the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) and local agencies have begun with the massive dissemination of recommendations and actions to guarantee the safety of tourists’ trips and their arrivals at the most popular destinations in the country.
The Roadside Assistance Program, for example, will provide assistance to people who have mechanical problems with their vehicles on the national road network, with authorized personnel 24 hours a day at strategic points until April 24, 2022, where the National Guard, Red Cross, Public Ministry will also be present and insurance companies.
Likewise, there will be first aid equipment for tourists who need outpatient care during their journey; highway and toll bridge concessionaires will maintain the road surface, cuts, slopes, and sufficient personnel will be assigned to booths to maintain fluidity in collection and counting lanes, as well as optimal sanitary conditions.
And it is that, according to the National Alliance for Road Safety (Anasevi), In Mexico, 378 thousand 504 traffic accidents occur on average each year, since 2015, which is why government advertising campaigns are essential at this time to convey messages such as: “Roads are safer if you drive carefully”; “The messages that you must read when you drive, are not on your cell phone” and “Drive with caution”.
