Nintendo has been very outspoken lately, posting the second trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, hosting a Nintendo Direct focused on Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and holding a second event on third-party titles. Despite this, there are still several Nintendo games that fans want to see more of, such as Bayonetta 3.
Bayonetta 2 launched in 2014, and the franchise has been relatively dormant ever since. Bayonetta 3 was first announced at The Game Awards 2017, and its first gameplay trailer appeared in a September 2021 Nintendo Direct. Bayonetta 3 was confirmed for a 2022 release there. as well as more information, and a leaker claims its release date is October 28.
The leaks depend on their source, as many of them are based on their information and others are just made up for fun. This information comes from a Twitter user known as SyluxHunter2, who has been around relatively recently and has few followers. This means that fans must take their information about Bayonetta 3as well as anything else, with reservations.
However, as redditor BrandsXavier has pointed out, it appears that he has a history of trust. It correctly revealed some content in the Nintendo Direct Mini, as well as the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe expansion, the February Direct, and the Advanced Wars delay. He also accurately leaked the Cyberpunk update for the next-gen, but most of his information seems Nintendo-centric.
Also keep in mind that, for various reasons, most video games are released on either a Tuesday or a Friday. October 28 is a Friday, and we must recognize that October is a logical date for Bayonetta 3. If Bayonetta is still on track for 2022, this leaked date will be checked out soon.
