Helpful tips
In the game they already explain it to you as soon as you start, but there are 3 types of enemy attacks in the game:
- Yellow: they can be blocked and countered, if you try to roll them it is quite likely that you will eat damage because they travel A LOT of distance.
- Reds: roll in the opposite direction to the attack.
- Red with a circle: you are going to have to roll twice, because they are attacks that hit the ground and create a fairly wide “damage zone”.
It’s still muscle memory, but make sure you keep an eye out for enemies to see what they’re going to do. On the other hand, some enemies they won’t warn you of their attacks (but you will see how they raise their weapon). In that case, just raise the shield and treat them like yellow attacks.
You must get used to sit on the benches with certain assiduity, because it is the save method of the game and, if you forget it, in the worst case you will have to defeat a boss again, an unpleasant feeling.
The equipment is also important, and as a general rule you will ALWAYS want to wear light equipment. This does not mean that you cannot carry heavier armor pieces, but try to ALWAYS stay below the first line of equipment weight in order to roll well.
When you unlock the two-handed weapons, practice the timing of the hard hit a bit. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do not fully charge it, but that you learn the minimum time for it to achieve the properties of removing the shield.
Finally, the last bit of useful information has to do with the blacksmith: ALWAYS bring the blueprints you have (stop by the town store when it opens to get more), because the flute may sound and you may find some particularly interesting piece of equipment.
Bosses
In the game you will find a good bunch of bosses, below you have the complete list:
- Brother Denis: the tutorial boss, you shouldn’t have much difficulty defeating him.
- Battering: as simple as getting on his back when he does the red attack.
- Broken Lance: it’s a long fight (summons allies) so be patient. Punish when he sticks the spear in the ground.
- Bloki Magu: the first tough nut to crack. During the first phase, use your two-handed weapon to constantly throw him to the ground. In the second, always try to leave room for when he throws his spear at you and roll behind him to punish him harshly.
- Red wart: the best time to punish is when he’s throwing up his vomit, so roll onto his back and hit him hard.
- King Mosquito: the vast majority of his attacks are red-circled, so take advantage of when he hits the ground to hit him.
- Mosquito Queen: be very careful with one of his attacks with a red circle, because as he crashes to the ground he will throw yellow slime at you.
- Puncture and Thrower: a fairly simple combat whose only difficulty lies in its duration.
- Mother larva– Pay close attention to the explosive eggs that he drops with some attacks. When it drops to the ground and crawls, try to get as far away as you can.
- Topo Mysterio: balances his absurd speed and attack power by being one of the lowest health bosses in the game. As soon as you get used to its timing, it will be finished.
- Machotopo: do not trust his jump attack, it has a gigantic range and you have to roll it yes or yes.
- Topoking: It has several attacks in which it does not warn with visual signals, so always have the shield raised in case the flies.
- Topoberg– Another enemy that you can abuse if you use the heavy attacks of your ax correctly, as in the first phase of Bloki Magu.
- Topo Mysterio and Topoberg: both at the same time. Get rid of Topo Mysterio first or you will suffer a great deal.
- Hulk topgan– Surprisingly one of the easiest moles to defeat. It does not have any particularly annoying seizures.
- Stalker: Before you can face the beast, you will have to deal with a good handful of waves of enemies, so be patient. The fight against him is not especially difficult, watch out for the blows.
- Stalker 2: After the first fight, you will have another one against him in a laboratory. This time he will have a slime attack, very punishable if you get behind him. Be careful when the roof rises and falls, because it will hurt you.
- Slicer: a very hard enemy to fight for the enemies that accompany him and the absurd range of his attacks. Clean the putties before you go for it.
- Zero Fechi: another VERY HARD enemy, featuring a jumping attack that leaves virtually no reaction time. Take advantage of every yellow attack he makes to punish him. As if this were not enough, he will summon mobs that will come to his aid.
- Zero Fechi 2: the plan is still the same respect in the previous fight, punish his yellow attacks.
- The Iron Frog: a fight in which you will want to have your shield raised most of the time. Take advantage of his white and yellow attacks to punish him, and be very patient.
- Green wart: The first part of the fight is reasonably simple, the greatest danger being the stones that he will throw at you with his white attack. In the second phase, punish him when he chains several red attacks, as he will get tired. In the third and final phase, watch out for his lick. Take advantage of vomiting to punish his back.
- Mur ratans: Take half a life bar from him with the ranged weapon at the beginning of the fight, feel no shame. When he throws the hammer, DO NOT hit him, as it chains several movements that can volatilize the life bar. Punish him when he summons lightning.
- Rattus Colaugusta– With the amount of yellow attacks he has, you shouldn’t have much difficulty defeating him. Be careful with their jumps.
The game has a single ending, so you don’t have to worry about getting any hidden achievements or anything similar.
