Interventions on facades and shop windows, decorated streets, activities and markets … the Barrio de Las Letras is once again filled with the most interesting designs and proposals thanks to the celebration of the first edition of Barrio Decor.
This decorative event will last until Sunday, September 26, with proposals such as Calle Almadén has been converted into Gancedo Street, since there we can see how the textures and colors of Gancedo give color to the street itself, but also to places like Matilda Cantina Café, or Monbull Corner (do not miss the exhibition with the work of various artists that are inside This space).
The street Lope de Vega (from Calle Quevedo to Calle del León) will be transformed into ‘Sweet’ street, with a deco as the guiding thread focused on sweets.
Between the intervened facades, include Matilda Cantina (with Gancedo), Llop Madrid (they have decorated its façade with the heads of Javier Sánchez Medina), or Lolita Mctissell, intervened by Le Carrousel. Also not to be missed is the Tiendas Pardo proposal (in addition, they have scheduled three workshops), the intervention of La Portilla Shop (prepared together with Roberto Herrera, better known as Decohoe), or the proposals of El Florista Floristería (as soon as the rain allow, they will bring out flowers, decorated tables and workshops).
In addition, in Moratín street there will also be a Antiques and Decoration market. A market that was going to be able to be visited from Thursday 23, although finally, due to the threat of rain, will be held on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September. In the market, you can buy from vintage furniture to unique pieces of decoration, antiques, or the small architectures made by hand by Monumenti by Jemuti.
