Bandai Namco seems to have really liked the theme of collaborations with great writers, as demonstrated by the successful launch of FromSoftware in Elden Ring, the work of author George RR Martin. Now everything seems to indicate that Bandai Namco wants to continue down this path as they intend to work with fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson, in a project already developed by the author.
According to media information VGCwriter Brandon Sanderson, known for works like Mistborn, The Stormlight Archives, and the last three installments of The Wheel of Time, opened a package of Elden Ring he received from Bandai Namco in a live stream. In the package came a note written precisely by Bandai, which indicated that they were interested in working with him on some future project.

As we can see in the video, it has been Bandai Namco herself who has shown her interest in the writer, being able to reach a very good agreement. When Sanderson was asked about the note, he replied (translated): “Me too, actually. This is how I go about it: I actually have a pitch for them in the back of my head…so I may have to send them my pitch and see what they think.” In addition, Sanderson indicates that he already has a project planned for a video game called “Soulsborne”, which can be interesting if everything is specified formally.
Without a doubt, incredible news from Bandai Namco, who have been in constant collaboration lately for their next projects. Although these are the first approximations between the two, possibly we could see some project of the writer becoming reality in a video game, since he has previously detailed his interest in taking his stories to other places.
