This week, Mexico premiered the distinctive “Kingdom of Mexico”, backed by the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) at the federal level, which will be awarded to spaces inspired by other regions of the world.
Within the framework of the delivery of the appointment to Val’Quirico, Tlaxcala, the Government of Baja California announced the construction of a tourist attraction in Ensenada inspired by this renowned place, with the aim of becoming the second Kingdom of Mexico and offering visitors a unique experience in the region.
A Kingdom of Mexico like Val’Quirico in Ensenada
Through a press release, the Government of Baja California informed that this project inspired by the Tlaxcalan community will be established in the Valle de Guadalupe. This will allow the entity to share its excellence in wine production, gastronomy, its local trade, and the talent of the region.
The Baja California Secretary of Tourism celebrated that this innovative tourism model reaches the entity to promote cultural and architectural exchange between Mexico and Europe.
Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda expressed her enthusiasm on social networks when announcing this project:
“It is an honor and a great emotion to announce the foundation of the next project of the creators of Val’Quirico, our wonderful Pueblo Sassi del Valle, located in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe, which will be the new world-class tourist destination in our state”.

During his participation in the event, the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, highlighted:

We are excited about this opportunity to promote tourism and economic development in the region.”
