Atreus becomes playable with this God of War mod

Now what God of War finally came to PC, the modders have been quite busy creating all kinds of mods for the recent adventure of Krateos and Atreus. We’ve seen some pretty bizarre stuff, like a mod that completely removes facial hair from the ghost of sparta, and some more harmless ones that simply improve its visual quality. Well, now one of them allows you to play as Atreus.

The mod in question was created by Specizerwho has made Atreus a playable character within God of War. Although the project is still in the early stages of its development, the following video shows us how it is progressing:

Specizer He states that he still has a lot of work to do on this mod, but promises to release it once he thinks it’s done. We still don’t know when it will be available for public download, so for now we just have to be patient and wait.

Publisher’s note: I think it’s only a matter of time before we see truly insane God of War mods. Sure, I wouldn’t expect anything on the level of Skyrim or GTA V, but we’ve seen that the community can get pretty creative.
