The entrepreneur managed to position himself in networks based on his “recognizable phrases”.
This tactic has earned him a large following, who even ask for photos.
The seller has been identified in at least three other concerts using the same sales strategy.
An entrepreneur and street vendor has taught marketing creatives a lesson; he has created a hallmark of concert fame for artists like Kenia Os and Jonas Brothers, among others.

With the exposure of social networks, the informal business has gradually grown, and that is where entrepreneurs have found a niche to develop professionally. In fact, data from The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) revealed that, of every 100 pesos generated in Mexico, the informal business scheme is responsible for 26 percent of it.
Also, it is shown that they generate an economic value comparable to 19.3 percent of that figure of the country’s GDP. During 2019, the closing figures were valued at 5 trillion pesos. For this reason, the informal sector has proven to be as important as the formal sector.
These figures could explain the reason for the recent rise in videos on entrepreneurship and individual job development. Fewer and fewer people want to spend time in an institution or a company and more are looking to open up new horizons, ensure their own growth in the workplace.
In the case of these students, the main motivation could be to try to cover the expenses of their university. However, whatever the case may be, it is clear that the entrepreneurial culture is increasingly present in Mexico and these videos are a sample of it.
During the concerts in Mexico, there has been a constant on social networks. A peddler of unofficial merchandise promoting itself under a distinctive tagline. Es consists of not addressing the singer or the artists present by his name, but using pronouns and qualifiers that have amused Internet communities.
The seller, whose name is unknown so far, has managed to impact networks in such a way that users have already made it a habit to identify him and upload a video or photo with him. The seller has appeared at other concerts by artists such as the Jonas Brothers and Ramstein, always referring to them as “the old ones who are going to sing.”
This was the video shared about the vendor at the Kenya Os concert:
@antonio_betancourt That’s what they call #KenyaOs outside his concert in the #National Auditorium #K23 ♬ Take It Away – Kenya OS
In doing so, the vendor has taught vendors large and small a lesson: sometimes the best strategy is to do things differently, and if that means not even mentioning artists’ names, that can work too.
These are some of the comments that have been read:
susi_lu_That’s how that man is, outside the DY concert, he said almost the same thing, later I heard that he said he didn’t say his name, because they wouldn’t buy from him if he did.
Jessi Zellet, Ha ha, wey, but I feel like he says it with humor. I don’t know, it sounded funny to me. There are some who are offended. Relax, you have to take everything with humor.
Max GabbanaThe vendors say the same thing at every concert, I laughed a lot when I went to Rammstein.
IVANCITOOOoOoO, Ha ha ha, it’s humor. I got a video of the same man selling bracelets for DLD and said “wear the bracelets of these dudes who sing today.”
