One of the most successful series of all time, The Simpson It has a myriad of characters. Since the late 1980s, Matt Groening has delighted us and made us laugh with his ideas: one of these unforgettable figures is Rafa Gorgory (Ralph Wiggum, in its English version). What would Bart’s little classmate look like transformed by Artificial Intelligence?
First let’s review Rafa’s life. He is the son of Springfield Commissioner Celso Gorgory and his wife, Sarah (although in recent seasons it was determined that his father is Eddie, one of Chief Gorgory’s cops).
Rafa’s first appearance on The Simpsons occurred in the fourth season. His innocence and candor, in addition to his erratic behavior, lead him to come up with often incomprehensible phrases out of nowhere.
He has even starred in awkward moments, such as when he accuses Marge of touching his “private part”, or the famous episode of I Love Lisa, where he falls in love with the brilliant girl, without being reciprocated.
In the words of Simpson Wiki in Spanish, “Rafa is, without a doubt, one of the most disconcerting characters in the series.” Although the writers have never specified it, as the portal points out, Rafa presents a psychological picture “resembling autism or Asperger’s Syndrome.”
Artificial Intelligence recreates Rafa, the character from The Simpsons
With the development of technology, fans of The Simpsons have sought to take a fresh look at the series. Many use applications of Artificial intelligence to play with the appearance of each character, and Rafa does not escape from it.
Hydraley Diao, a Brazilian with more than 305 thousand followers on Instagram, worked with an Artificial Intelligence app (he does not specify which one) to create the human version of Rafa.
The result is this and it already has more than 8,600 likes. What do you think about her? Leave your answer on our social networks.
The Simpsons (The Simpsons) is available in StarPlus (the old seasons) and in Disney Plus (the most recent and the short ones).
