Nintendo has released a new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, although only in Japan. While we wait for a version to be published in our language, one thing is already very clear: the Pokémon in this game hate humans.
In the new trailer, we see the Pokemon resting in nature, in peace, hanging out. Until they discover a coach and pounce on him. Unlike the ones we find in the wild area of Sword & Shield, these Pokémon want to do us harm, as we see humans dodge the blows. Be that as it may, it is clear that this is a very different Pokémon game.
As you can see in the latest gameplay images, some of the reactions from the Pokemon when they see you they are really scary. Trainers are seen barely dodging both physical and special moves, suggesting that the creatures found here are far less tame than we’re used to in the main games. This would make sense considering that this is a prequel, set long before the events of Diamond and Pearl in the same region.
Of course, we can still catch them, but much of the work will fall on us rather than our own. Pokemon. Here we see the player throw a Pokeball at a creature while crouching in the grass. If they break free, it is understandable that they will become more angry and attack. You can lead your own group to attack them, but you will also have to rely on your own abilities and reaction times to survive.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be released on January 28, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. It is a prequel to Brilliant Diamond and Shimmering Pearl, which was released recently, on November 19, 2021.
