Many people expect the new generation of Apple iPhone SE as May water. The current and only model available in the market is characterized by the design of the iPhone 5s and its 4 “screen, although its internal specifications bring it closer to an iPhone 6s.

Presented in March 2016, the company is expected to launch a successor. Although rumors about the iPhone SE 2 have been emerging for a couple of years, they have increased in recent months, and claim that the company could announce it in early 2020. The latest information ensures that Apple would not sell one, but two models.

It would have a 5.5 or 6.1 inches LCD screen

DigiTimes has echoed internal publications from a Taiwanese production chain in which it is claimed that Apple would be working on two models of iPhone SE. This unexpected version would have a 5.5 or 6.1-inch LCD screen and would go on sale at the end of 2020 or at the latest in early 2021.

Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst who has made several predictions about future Apple products, expects that in this 2020 the brand will add five new terminals to its catalog. However, with this new rumor, a sixth could join. According to the source, Chipbond Technology, based in Taiwan, would have already received orders from Apple for the two LCD devices.

With the possible designation of iPhone 9, it is rumored that the first model that will go on sale will have a 4.7 “IPS LCD Retina display, physical start button with Touch ID, Apple A13 Bionic processor with Neural Engine and 3 GB of RAM, plus a single rear camera. You could say it would be a review of the iPhone 8.
