We are just one day away from the introduction of the new iPhone 13, devices that we will see tomorrow, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. Spanish time. On these terminals enough has already leaked, although there is nothing confirmed by Apple, as usual.
Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most trusted analysts in the Apple world, has ventured to say that Apple will finally say goodbye to 64 GB with its iPhone 13, a storage configuration not typical of high-end terminals, but that they have been dragging for generations.
Goodbye 64GB, hello TB of storage
There wasn’t much debate about it: 64 GB is insufficient for a mobile of the highest range. Since the generation of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, Apple has been dragging the base configuration in models such as the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 12.
The iPhone 13 will start from 128 GB, the Pro 256 GB and the maximum configuration in the latter will be 1 TB, according to Kuo
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the new generation iPhone 13 will start from 128 GB, an important leap in the “basic” models. For their part, the Pro variants will finally start at 256 GB, with versions of up to 1 TB of storage. Specifically, this is how the storage distributions would look.
- iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini: 128, 256 and 512 GB.
- iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max: 256, 512 and 1 TB.
Good news for internal storage, though Everything indicates that we will see an increase in price, as is often the case every time Apple makes huge leaps in memory.
Along with this news, Kuo affirms that we will see the AirPods 3 together with the iPhone 13, so the new family of Apple phones will not arrive alone at the event. There are only a few hours to confirm this information, tomorrow is the big day.
