The Civil Guard, the Local Police of the Valencian town of Daimus and the mayor of this town, Javier Planes, had to intervene this Thursday before the action he was carrying out a group of anti-vaccine people at the gates of Mestre Rafael Noguera School, where was vaccinated to schoolchildren in the framework of the process being carried out by the Ministry of Health to immunize boys and girls between 5 and 11 years of age. The objective was to try to put pressure on families so that their children were not pricked, talking to them about alleged long-term adverse effects that the drug can have on the little ones.
The events took place around 12:30 p.m. As explained by the mayor, mothers and fathers were at the gates of the school waiting to accompany the boys and girls while they were inoculated with the vaccine. At that time “8 or 9 people” have arrived, they have addressed families with alarmist messages regarding anticovid drugs.
With his presence, the tension has begun to rise, to the point that someone has called the authorities, who have moved to the door of the school. Planes, the mayor, who, as he has assured this newspaper, has also gone there, “I have told them to leave Daimús, that we wanted them here,” he indicated.
According to witnesses consulted by Levante-EMV, a newspaper of the same group, Prensa Ibérica, that this newspaper, there have been moments of great nervousness and tension between families, as some mothers have become very nervous about the situation.
The Civil Guard has identified some of the people who were part of the anti-vaccine group and has asked them to stop their attitude, since they were generating a public order problem in the municipality. Mayor Planes, for his part, has urged them to leave the town.
