- Once again, Anonymous makes an appearance in the Russia-Ukraine conflict and, now, is awarded the hacking of television signals in Russia.
- The idea of the group of hackers was to transmit, through these signals, images of the war in Ukraine.
- Previously, Anonymous had already declared “war” on the country led by Vladimir Putin.
Not long ago the computer hacker collective, Anonymous, declared “war” on Russia following the country’s attacks on Ukraine.
This Monday, through a publication on its Twitter account, Anonymous claimed responsibility for the hacking of several television signals of the main Russian channels, such as Russia 24, Channel One and Moscow 24.
According to the group, this intervention was given with the aim of transmitting images of the war in Ukraine, a fact that has been seen in various parts of Russia.
In addition, the hacking of Wink or Ivi signals, audiovisual servers similar to Netflix in Russia, which has thousands of subscribers, was also carried out.
The post shared on Twitter is accompanied by a video where you can see the aforementioned blockades on television signals, as well as the images that appeared on the screen about the war in Ukraine.

Sanctions after the Russia-Ukraine conflict
The Russia-Ukraine conflict, considered by some specialists to be the most worrying in the last 30 years, has been the engine of innumerable opinions everywhere, from the most knowledgeable on the subject to users on social networks who join the conversations of the digital pulse.
It is, in turn, a conflict that, for Russia, has left a significant number of trade blockades by various industries.
To date, to name a few, companies such as Apple, Netflix, Spotify, TikTok, Samsung, among others, have expressed their rejection of the actions taken by the government led by Vladimir Putin and their services have already been suspended in that country.
Let us also remember that not long ago, last February, the group of hackers declared “war” on Russia as a result of the attacks against Ukraine.
Through its Twitter account, Anonymous confirmed that “the Anonymous collective is officially in cyber war against the Russian government”, a message that was even received with several memes by the web community.
However, what is clear is that the blockades against Russia, it seems, will not end. In the last 24 hours, among the long list of companies that have turned their backs on Vladimir Putin, PayPal and American Express confirmed that their services have also been canceled in that country in response to the “violent military aggression in Ukraine.”
A letter published on Twitter by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, explains, from the PayPal CEO’s own “voice”, the details of this decision, Dan Schulman, who mentions that “Under the current circumstances, we are suspending PayPal services in Russia and are also doing everything we can to support our staff in the region during this deeply difficult time.”

It should be noted that, according to a UN report, just over 400 civilian deaths have been confirmed so far, although it is estimated that the figure may be much higher.
