During these past weeks we have been able to see how, despite the cancellation of E3 2022many video game companies have been announcing their conferences on dates parallel to this one, being so Microsoft will hold a conference on Sunday Showcasing Xbox and Bethesda games, this being the same day their classic Los Angeles fair event would have been held.
Be that as it may, the truth is that there are several companies that, despite this tendency to continue announcing conferences, are in doubt, either due to one factor or another. To give an example of this, Nintendo did nothing in 2020 when E3 was canceled at the same time that Sony has not been to the Los Angeles event for years. And in this way, everything seemed to indicate that the PlayStation Showcase would go to September.
See you on June 2 at 11:59 p.m.
Said and done, it seems that in June we were left without a PlayStation Showcase, but that does not prevent us from having a Sony event soon, since just a few minutes ago it was announced a new State of Playthis being the minor event of the Japanese company when it comes to presenting all its future news.
In this way, according to the tweet published by the official Sony account, the State of Play will take place on June 2 at 23:59so we will have to stay up a bit to be able to see all the news that PlayStation has planned for the coming months:
State of Play returns next week! Don’t miss the live broadcast on June 2 at 11:59 p.m. (UTC+2) for news, announcements and more: https://t.co/6Gxy5nfra1 #StateOfPlay pic.twitter.com/K7TTIr5z2g

It should be noted that the ballot papers here seem quite clear, as everything points to God of War Ragnarok could soon reveal its release datethus giving rise to that in this event we can have a new look at the Spartan and his son in their fight against the Norse Gods.
Be that as it may, we will have to wait until next week to be able to find out in more detail, since at the moment we know nothing about the content of the State of Play, unlike on other occasions such as the last one focused on Japanese games or the previous Hogwarts Legacy. Likewise, we do not know the duration of the same.
