Apex Legends Mobile has been around for a while now, and much of the current meta game is decided. This one continues to grow, even adding Loba in its recent seasonal update. However, the game has a long way to go before it catches up to the original game in terms of content. But Apex Legends Mobile does not seem to follow the same path.
Many of the current Apex Legends characters aren’t available on mobile, but over time, that will be reversed. It has long been known that Apex Legends Mobile would feature exclusive content, including characters. This was really shown at launch when Apex Legends Mobile added Fade, and now it looks like another exclusive character has been leaked.
Keep in mind that apex legends doesn’t seem to care much about its content, as several characters have recently been leaked for the base game. And the latest leak comes from ThatOneGamingBot, who has been reliable in the past, saying that a new character named DJ aka Rhapsody is coming only to the mobile version of Apex Legends.
ThatOneGamingBot doesn’t offer an image of Rhapsody, but it does reveal various in-game cosmetics associated with it, such as UI elements, a holospray, and more. Most importantly, it looks like Rhapsody will have a robot dog as part of his team, to be named Nebula.
It’s unknown if she’ll be the character for Season 2 or if she’s just started her development, but based on Nebula’s name and design, it’s easy to think she may have sound-based abilities. In fact, it’s possible that Nebula can distract enemies by making noises or mimicking gunshots, something that sounds familiar to a previously leaked character that was ultimately scrapped.
In fact messing with the audio and noises could be really disorienting and maybe too powerful in the base game, but maybe it’s a good fit for the mobile game. Of course, what Rhapsody’s kit might be remains to be seen.
The only real clues come from Nebula and her name, but if it is indeed based on sound and noise, it will be interesting to see how she shakes up the meta game from Apex Legends Mobilewhenever it arrives.
