A Vietnamese architect achieved what millions of fans dream of, building a replica of the Batmobile, which can be used on the roads of Vietnam
The Batmobile is the best-known vehicle in the DC Universe, as well as in the entertainment industry, and the dream of millions of fans is to own this car, something that an architect managed to fulfill, who built a replica of the Tumbler, the Batmobile from The Dark Knight trilogy.

Nguyen Dac Chung, an architect of Vietnamese origin, took on the task of building the Batmobile in real scale, with the aim that the vehicle would be useful and not just an ornament for a fan.
With these ideas in mind, Dac Chung ventured to build an electric vehicle which could roll on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, the most populous city in Vietnam.
The architect achieved his goal and now has a Batmobile that can run up to 120 kilometers per hour and with a passenger seat, although we doubt that this vehicle contains the arsenal that we saw in the trilogy starring Christian Bale.
This is how the Batmobile of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy was born
The Tumbler (or acrobat in Spanish) was created by Nathan Crowley, the art director of Batman Begins, who was tasked with creating a vehicle from scratch, unlike previous Batmobiles that were made from pre-built vehicles.
“One of the biggest things that[Christopher Nolan]wanted to try was to redesign the Batmobile… It was Friday, I left and I went to Toys R Us and I bought a bunch of vehicles… I went to my shop and cut everything up, smashed it up. I’m talking about crushing a Lamborghini with a Humvee (military vehicle), so I thought: Well, let’s start somewhere. I mixed everything up and dropped it off at his door on a Monday morning.”
The Tumbler is the fifth Batmobile in film and television history. In 2022 the film The Batman will have a version inspired by the Mustang 87.
