Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano erupted early Wednesday morning, June 7, according to the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. After this natural event, the authorities activated the red alert to warn the inhabitants.
Although the eruption did not cause significant damage to the community, the images of the erupting volcano show the magnitude and intensity of the catastrophe located within the Volcanoes National Park.
“The initial phases of the eruptions are dynamic. Webcam images show fissures at the base of the Halemaʻumaʻu crater generating lava flows on the surface of the crater floor. Activity is limited to Halemaʻumaʻu and risks will be reassessed as the eruption progresses.”said the Hawaii Volcano Observatory.
In addition, in the photographs you can see the lava being expelled into the air and running like rivers around the volcano, which is accompanied by huge clouds of smoke. On social networks, these images have caused amazement and interest in the beauty of Kilauea in its most critical state. “Even eruptions are pretty in Hawaii”; “A real proof that there are beautiful and destructive things”; “It looks amazing scenery”are some of the comments left by various users.
A natural spectacle that has attracted the public
The Kilauea volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, in fact, prior to this eruption it had already done so last January. For this reason, this natural event has become a tourist attraction in Hawaii.
The National Park Service has recommended some places from which people can watch the eruption and warned against the demand for visits. “Consider viewing the eruption from less crowded areas, walk to popular viewing areas from other parking lots, or visit at an unconventional time. Visit before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. m. to live the best experience.”the institution said in a statement.
