As part of the panels of the National Digital Marketing Congress 2022 of the Merca2.0 magazine, Juanpa Zurita spoke about the importance of social networks as generators of brands.
Currently, brands are more involved with social networks, since these represent an important strategy to reach new audiences, millions of consumers with a single post, be it a video or a simple image.
Faced with the crisis generated by the arrival of the pandemic, social networks, digital platforms and, of course, influencersbecame an ideal tool for brands in order to reach a new audience.
Its boom has been so great that, as of today, as revealed by a study of the platform Tomson, it is estimated that 92 percent of people are more receptive to recommendations made by other users about brands or products, even if they don’t personally know who they’re recommending.
Also, according to data from postcron, 66 percent of people trust reviews posted on social media more.
With these data in hand, it is possible to ensure that we live in an era dominated by content creators, in a context in which social networks have become authentic commercial showcases.
Even the profession as such has gained great popularity among young people, because, According to a survey signed by Morning Consult, in Latin America alone, 86 percent of people between the ages of 13 and 38 have in mind to become full-time content creators.
On the other hand, in Mexico, 70 percent of young people between 16 and 29 years of age want to be influencersdata that consolidates the content creator as a profession that, day by day, is becoming more relevant.
Juanpa Zurita is, today, one of the creators of content and influencers most followed and recognized in Mexico, who, in addition, has a career of nine years making content and, from his perspective, the key is reinvention, even when it means risk.
There is no doubt, currently, that social networks are part of the vocabulary of the new generations; it is, in other words, the space through which they interact.
Brands, for a few years, have realized this, which is why, increasingly, the strategy with content creators or influencers it is more used in order to reach those new audiences that were born with technology.
The challenge for brands, on the one hand, is to click with the influencer appropriate and, on the other, to generate a good reputation in a context in which there is all kinds of harmful content for young people and creators of all kinds.
In the words of Juanpa Zurita, “If the brand is committed to a specific content in the long term, it will have great results. For creators, the challenge is to find consistency with brands; that are suitable for your content and vice versa”.
Similarly, Zurita states that “you have to create a large content and cut it into small pieces and then share it on the different platforms
“Don’t be afraid of failure. Jump in, it doesn’t matter if you fall. Inevitably, even if they try to make things perfect, they’re going to screw it up. Get ready for that because it’s going to happen,” said Juanpa Zurita.
