ALGIERS, Oct 27 (Reuters) – Algerian Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab said on Wednesday that his country will comply with all gas supply commitments acquired with Spain and that it is willing to negotiate the supply of possible additional quantities, reported the new state agency APS.
“The Spanish partners have received the guarantee that Algeria will provide all the planned supplies,” APS quoted the minister after a meeting with his Spanish counterpart, Teresa Ribera. “We have assured the Spanish partner that we are willing to talk about additional quantities and to set a schedule to deliver all these quantities.” (Reporting by Hamid Ould Ahmed Editing by Mark Potter Translation by Flora Gómez)
