Users reported on social networks that BBVA Mexico’s mobile banking app had problems this Friday the 30th, in the middle of payment day, so many cannot carry out operations within the application.
“Sorry, the BBVA service is temporarily inactive. Please try again later”, was the message that appeared to several users when they tried to log in to their mobile application.
The hashtag #BBVA was already a trend on social networks due to user complaintswho noted that it was not the first time that BBVA’s mobile banking service failed on a Friday and fortnightly.
BBVA is the bank with the most clients in Mexico and the largest by credit portfolio.
Bank account holders also reported being unable to receive deposits, withdraw cash or make card payments.
So far, the bank has not commented on this new failure.
