If you are a mobile user Android Perhaps the time has come to talk about a detail that you probably had not considered: the urgency of cleaning the smartphone and deleting the cookies from the browser.
The most common thing for mobile users is that they use apps and not necessarily surf the internet. But it is more likely that they have a Chrome application as their default browser to access websites when they consider it necessary.
The thing here is that Chrome’s default settings are designed to keep data history for all of your browsing sessions.
So after years of use it is likely that this data is too extensive a compendium of information that it would be prudent to eliminate.
According to the very definition of GoogleCookies are small pieces of text that the websites you visit send to your browser. They allow such websites to remember information about your visit, which can make your browsing experience easier and smoother.
However, other technologies, such as unique identifiers used to identify a browser, application, or device, tracking pixels, and local storage, may also be used for these purposes.
The detail is that each of these elements is stored on the device within Chrome and after a while it becomes a tracking compilation that is too heavy to be deleted.
To delete cookies from our Chrome browser on Android, just follow these simple steps:
- Open Google Chrome and tap on the context menu button. They are the three vertical points that are located in the upper right corner.
- Some options will immediately be displayed. You have to look for the “History” line and wait for the interface to load.
- The section with blue text will appear with the option “Clear browsing data”.
- One of the options will appear on what data specifically you want to delete. We select there only by checking the “Data from sites and cookies” sections.
- Finally, we tap on the “Clear data” button.
And voila, with these simple steps our Android will be free of cookies without losing our history of previously visited web pages.
Our recommendation is that cookies be deleted every two weeks, but there is really no specific period to do it.
