The airline Aeroméxico formalized its exit from the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV)the company reported on Wednesday.
Grupo Aeroméxico explained that the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) notified it of the authorization to cancel the registration in the National Securities Registry (RNV).
With this, all its ordinary, regulatory and single series shares with which it was listed on the Mexican stock market are excluded.
The authorization has been formally notified to the Mexican Stock Exchange, and, consequently, the BMV has proceeded to implement the administrative processes to formalize the cancellation of the Shares before the BMV and the RNV with effect from December 28, 2022 ”, reads the ad.

For its part, it announced that the trust it established will remain in force until after six months from December 13 or when the trustee, CI Banco, has acquired all the remaining shares and paid the holders of said shares the corresponding purchase price.
The company indicated that it will be through its official website, where it will announce the mechanism for individualization of the shares in favor of the direct shareholders of Aeroméxico.
As well as for the delivery of the physical titles that will cover the corresponding shares.
This Mexican airline joins a list of companies that have decided to leave the BMV as IEnova, bio paper, lala, Pochteca, Strength Materials, Elementia Materials, Overall Insurancewhile the Santander bank in Mexico and the Grupo Sanborns restaurant chain have expressed the same interest.
