Activision Blizzard they are still in the eye of the hurricane, and this time they have been sued by their own employees. Several company workers, along with a major media union known as Communications Workers of America (CWA), have filed a lawsuit against Activision Blizzard, in which they accuse the company of using illegal tactics, such as intimidation, to prevent the unionization of these workers.

In statements to The Washington Post, Tom Smith, organizational director of CWAsaid the following:

“Management could have responded with humility and a willingness to take the necessary steps to correct some of the dire conditions that certain Activision Blizzard workers have had to face. Instead, their response was to spy on employees, intimidate them, and hire third parties charged with preventing unionization. “

CWA alleges that Activision Blizzard use illegal intimidation tactics to prevent their employees from unionizing, including questioning, threats, and promising to benefit them should they decide not to go ahead with this process.
