The specialist ABT Sportsline has presented its exciting new upgrade package for the Audi Q8 TFSI e. A tuning program that makes Audi’s plug-in hybrid SUV a more powerful, radical and exclusive model. It reaches 580 hp and sports a differentiated exterior appearance.

Taking as a starting point the plug-in hybrid version (PHEV) of the exclusive Audi SUV, a very interesting and comprehensive package of improvements has been developed. An adjustment program that puts the spotlight on both the aesthetic and mechanical section. And it is that it allows make the Q8 TFSI a more powerful plug-in hybrid SUV, radical and, above all, exclusive. Let’s go into detail.

Let’s start our review of ABT upgrade package for the Q8 TFSI e for the visual section. The German specialist puts on the table a body kit Aero Package made up of various components. However, beyond the changes made to the exterior design of the Q8 TFSI and modified by ABT Sportsline, as it is a plug-in hybrid car, what is truly important lies in the mechanical section. And it is that the preparer has not had complexes in modifying the propulsion system to increase the power and, therefore, the performance of the German SUV.
In the Q8 TFSI range, the most powerful version reaches 462 hp. It is the Q8 60 TFSI e quattro engine. Under the hood is a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI gasoline engine
which is combined with an electric motor built into the eight-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox. The ABT Sportsline empowerment kit allows to increase the power of the combustion engine up to 408 hp and 500 Nm of maximum torque. That is, a 68 hp and 50 Nm increase
respectively.
After the installation of the ABT Engine Control unit, the performance of the Audi plug-in hybrid SUV reaches the highest 530 hp. By the way, the power kit is also available for the Q8 55 TFSI e quattro which, as standard, has 381 hp.
