Abarth has unveiled a new special edition of its small pocket sports car. It is the new Abarth F595, a vehicle conceived to pay tribute to Formula 4 and, more specifically, to the car designed by Carlo Abarth. Show off exclusive exterior and interior details.
The little Abarth sports car is back in its premiere. The iconic Italian brand that sports a scorpion on its badge, has launched a new special series. The new Abarth F595, a model that has been created with a clear objective. Make a tribute to the world of Formula 4 and, more specifically, the car designed in its day by Carlo Abarth.
This special edition differs from the rest of the versions that make up the 595 range of Abarth by offering an excellent and well-worked relationship between the set-up for the track and the comfort expected of a daily car. All this seasoned with a whole series of details that enhance its exclusivity. Let’s review all the main keys of a very interesting model.
The exterior design of the new Abarth F595
First of all, it should be noted that the new F595 will be available in both saloon and convertible bodywork. The exterior has been adorned with elements and details in Azul Rally. The exterior mirror caps and the front and rear DAM are finished. To this we must add some beautiful 17-inch Sport alloy wheels
in matte black.
The bodywork is available in the following colors: Race White, Campovolo Gray, Track Gray, Scorpion Black, Record Gray and Tarmac Gray. In addition, the F595 logo has been incorporated on the rear. And speaking of the rear, in the rear stands out, without a doubt, the new Record Monza exhaust system with a configuration with four terminals, two on each side, arranged vertically. The exhaust valve can be activated through the “Scorpion” button located on the dashboard.
The interior and equipment of the new Abarth F595
Leaving aside the outside, if we venture into the interior of the new F595 we will be surrounded by an atmosphere in which sportsmanship is breathed. The first thing that will catch your eye are the Abarth sports seats and the leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel. There are numerous details and trims painted in black and matte black. Optionally you can equip some Sabelt seats.
The standard equipment includes the Koni rear suspension with frequency-selective damping technology, “Scorpion mode” selector, Abarth braking system with front and rear self-ventilated discs, fog lights, Uconnect HD infotainment system with touch screen. 7 inches, DAB radio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The engine of the new Abarth F595
Under the hood of the new F595 is a 1.4 liter T-Jet gasoline engine that develops a power of 165 hp and 230 Nm of maximum torque. It is associated with a manual gearbox but, as an option, you can opt for a five-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles on the steering wheel. This mechanical set allows the Abarth model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.3 seconds (7.4 seconds with automatic transmission) and reach a maximum speed of 218 km / h.
