Abandoned has been talking about for quite some time, this being the project that they are developing in Blue Box as a horror game and that attracted a lot of attention because many thought that it could be a future Kojima project.
Given this, it must be said that with the passage of time the expectation has been reduced quite a bit, since information regarding past projects suggests that Blue Box does nothing but take money from its investors with titles that never see the light. And, in the case of doing so, they are not even close to what was promised.
Abandoned aims to be one of the biggest scams in video games
Under this premise, recently the dataminer Lance McDonald would have recently provided new information that would point to a scam by BLUE BOX in various tweets. Unfortunately, these same tweets have been deleted by his author, explaining that this has been done so that his name is not related to the company. However, the colleagues 3DGames They have collected all this information.
As extracted, McDonald states that the game has only developed a small demo used to mislead investors. Adding to this, some images of a supposed Silent Hill game would have been leaked (these being false) to continue maintaining the deception.
On the other hand, Mcdonald would also have stated that he has held talks with the director of the project, Hasan Kahraman. However, this tweet was also deleted.
For all that has been said, we will have to see what the final result of this soap opera is, although as time goes by there are more and more indications that all the speculation around Abandoned could fall on deaf ears. For all these reasons, we will have to see how this situation ends.
For the rest, it only remains to point out that, regardless of what Blue Box is doing, there are rumors that point to the return of Silent Hill in style, although it should be noted that, according to what we know, none of the studies behind these projects is that of Abandoned.
