In order to maintain this growth and achieve a healthy ecosystem, Marcus Dantus, director of Wayra and a figure who has promoted entrepreneurship in the country, points out that one of the best practices for growth in the sector is to mentor the businessmen. That is why he joined as a partner-ambassador of the Tiendanube brand, who work with small and medium-sized companies.
The company during 2022 increased the number of transactions in cloud stores in Mexico by 140%, while total sales through the platform grew by 127% compared to 2021. Therefore, this integration seeks to bring mentoring and direct work with the ‘shark’.
“We will be holding workshops and working directly with Dantus so that the platform’s clients can continue to grow and strengthen their skills to sell online and have a business,” Juan Martín Vignart, Tiendanube’s country manager told Expansión in Mexico.
The mentoring will take place in the coming months and will help many of the companies that have joined the company to strengthen their evangelization towards digitization.
“Companies that are not being digital are losing opportunities and a strategy that will help them is to have an understanding of the trends in the market, in addition to strengthening ties in the digital ecosystem,” said Dantus.
Tiendanube aims its efforts to position itself as the local platform for online stores preferred by Mexicans, with an ambitious goal of getting 150% more businesses in the country to dare to make the leap to sell online through its platform.
The platform already has more than 100,000 businesses that use its technology in the region and this type of benefit may call other companies to join and learn about the benefits of national e-commerce.
Faced with inflation and the economic crisis that is stalking the world, Vignart and Dantus agree that the ideal is to know how to prioritize efforts and investments, and one of the mechanisms to do so is by being clear about how the digital world moves.
