The rivalry between France and England covers many areas such as history and science, and the economy It is not the exception, with the European island being the one that obtains the best results.

Taking the United Kingdom as a reference (which is the state that makes up England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) and according to data from the World Bank, the value of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reaches almost 3.2 trillion dollars, figure slightly higher than the 2.9 trillion dollars that France holds.

A similar difference appears when comparing GDP per capita (monetary value of GDP divided among its inhabitants) with $47,334 for the “country of the rose” against $43,518 for the French.

If you compare the levels of public debt with respect to GDP, both nations face problems: France with 123% and the United Kingdom with 191%.

France can boast of not having a population in poverty (which subsists on less than 2.15 dollars a day) and suffers from a lower level of inflation.

The Frenchman Kylian Mbappé is the most valuable player of the match with 160 million euros, a higher level than the Englishman Phil Foden with 110 million euros.

Below we present the key data of both nations
