Red Hood would adapt the arc A Death in the Family, which in 1988 brought us the death of Jason Todd, the second Robin, who returns to life thanks to the wells of Lazaro from Ra’s Al Ghul, which makes him a violent Gotham watchman.
Who would be targeted for Red Hood?
This new Red Hood movie would be connected to the Nightwing movie, which will be directed by Chris McKAy, the man who brought The Lego Batman Movie to the big screen.
For the direction of Red Hood, Warner Bros. has begun negotiating with filmmakers such as Shaka King (Judas and the Black Messiah), Robert Machoian (God Bless the Child), and Rose Glass (Saint Maud).
To play Jason Tood / Red Hood, DC Comics and Warner Bros would have offered the role to Tanner Buchanan, an actor who is part of the cast of the Cobra Kai series.
In 2021 the third season of the Titans series features Curran Walters who takes the role of Jason Todd, who has abandoned the mantle of Robin to carry the alter ego of Red Hood.
