Cabbage with sausage is one of my cupboard recipes: those that I always have on hand when I don’t know what to cook or I don’t have time for trouble. It takes just over 10 minutes to prepare, without staining anything, and it tastes great.
The recipe was taught to me by my mother a few years ago and I have no idea where she got it from, but the truth is that it is an invention.
Cabbage is a vegetable that does not have many fans, which is normal, because usually lazy. But with this recipe it is at its point, pulling crunchy, but with a lot of flavor. It has no fault. And as you will see, there is no mystery either, beyond having a pressure cooker of any kind at home.
In an express pot we put half cabbage juliennedthe bratwurst sausages that we fancy (although we can do it with other types of sausages, these are the ones that work best), a glass of white wine, salt and plenty of freshly ground black pepper
We cover the pot, turn on the heat and wait for the rings to rise or the valve to start turning if you have an old model. When the pot reaches its maximum pressure we put out the fire We expect all steam to be released. We open and the vegetables and sausages will be at their point. In just 10 minutes.
